Learning versions of Irish session tunes

Over the last few years, I’ve put together quite a few “learning versions” of common Irish session tunes: settings of the notes, bowings, ornaments, and transitions that will work as-is on fiddle if you follow all of the instructions and know at least a little bit about what you’re doing.

They’re designed to be an aid in learning the musical vocabulary appropriate to Irish music, and ultimately lead students to being able to develop their own settings of tunes.

I have grand plans to publish these sometime, but for now, if you’re interested, please contact Tim.
